    Brian Dozier. What can one say? Wait, I have something... the guy is a game changer and an all-star caliber 2nd baseman. On this day 2 years ago NOBODY would have envisioned this outcome. I know a lot of us give the front office grief over the way they handle things and their philosophy, but we certainly should give them a standing ovation or at the very least a pat on the back for snagging this guy in the 8th round of the 2009 draft.     Good. The boys need to be tested. Paul deserves this honor and I am happy for him. The Twins will come prepared and won't be gutted like fish in a Tokyo Seafood marketplace no matter the attendance or event. My keyword for the Twins tomorrow is "Lex Talionis"!

Heck, you have probably know some of those cats longer than your close family. Well... Salutations to you, your new adventure will be a great one!     Maybe that is not a bad thing. Maybe we should view Brian as a disciple of the MN Twins and we should have faith that he will spread and teach the gospel of the Twins while he is entrenched in the Unholy Lands of Detroit Tiger fandom. It might be a tough task to execute, but we may end up with some MN Twins fan converts. Twins Bless You All.

    Reflecting back to the time when this trade occurred, my memory is that most posters were in favor of Meyer/Span trade. At the time of the trade the word was out there that it was somewhat risky. The Twins needed a future pitcher with ace like stuff and the ability to miss bats - Meyer was never ever a guarantee. So, at this juncture in time, the gamble did not pay off for the Twins. It's a bummer... but what do you do? I was in favor of the trade at the time and still am because time travel, to the best of my knowledge, is not a luxury the human race has at this point in time.

    I love Stauffer. He make's great microwaveable dinners. The turkey dinner is Out of Sight! The Salisbury Steak is okay too.
