    Remember this and remember it well. In the off season, post this to the Sports Bar section. We can have a fun filled off season with these kind of debates. It may be my desperation to have a game thread atmosphere in the offseason, but damn, it could fun diddlylicious!!!

    No ****! I just assumed Gibby was banned for awhile as he can be very opinionated and crazy (in a fun way) ... which I love. I do recall him saying something about going to Japan for 6 months or so. I think it had something to do with his daughter's volleyball career. Don't quote me on that though.

    Circus Boy, my friend, you have warmed my heart and made the grand failure of the Rally Rhino and Comeback Bunny a worthwhile venture. They never won us a game, but maybe they brought us some... um, some... something, I am not too sure? I dedicate my final Rally Rhino and Comeback Bunny to you Circus Boy.

    Being torched by the sun, sucked of my life force by the humidity, watchin' a game from the LF bleachers with some cool cats at Target Field in late August. Other than that - it has to be Hughes' overall season.

    Given the unfortunate event of Plouffe breaking his arm and being done for the season. I would like to commend him on having a much improved season and being one of the bright spots on this ball club. Sure, he didn't hit 25HR's, have a .850OPS, nor did he man 3B like Gary Gaetti, but he played very serviceable defense and at times looked damn good - not to mention he was one of our main offensive cogs, who was durable up until today and seemingly took on a leadership role with this ball club. Nice job Trevor and I look forward to seeing you build off the 2014 season in 2015 as the Twins starting 3B (which he will no doubt be).

    I'm not too worried about Pinto's future with the Twins. He definitely has the hit tool and although his stats this season in the bigs do not reflect that, the man will hit, I feel very confident about this. Next season, I look at Suzuki as the 1997 Joe Girardi and Pinto as the 1997 Jorge Posada. Pinto will get 250PA's next season and come 2016 he will be the starting catcher, just like Posada took over for the Yanks in 1998. Pinto needs a little bit more time to shore up his defensive abilities, just like Posada did. Their ages are comparable in this scenario and I have no doubt this will be the end outcome.

    Yeah, I think Cahill can find his former self. I would be worried if Mr. Anderson was his overseer. What if he doesn't like Trevor - his fate might be that of Vanimal in a Twins uniform. Rick can be a cruel and I have pictures to prove it.

    Poop. Disappointing start for Mays, but it is nice to see Schafer out in Center, being the commander. We can still have this game, as I believe the Twins will score at least 4 runs. Our pitching has to hold.

    There are some thunderstorms/showers making there way through the Twin Cities right now. I wouldn't be surprised if the game was delayed a little bit (30 minutes). Just a guess.

    Maneuvering through the crowd of cynics and masochists - I am pleased that Perkins' injury is not too serious and shutting him down the rest of the season is the wise choice. His problem seems very fixable.
