He is sitting at 32...and 8 of those were to the leadoff hitter
  2. Intramural Legend
I'll take 16 pitches an inning if they are scoreless:)
  3. Intramural Legend
    Well, with 9 easy payments...
  4. Intramural Legend
Completely agree - there has to be a better / faster way.
  5. Intramural Legend
No need to taunt those of us sitting in the office...
  6. Intramural Legend
Well, maybe it is a good thing we have started the season with all day games. Better to waste time paying attention while working, than actual free time.
  7. Intramural Legend
In defense of Gardy, Pelfrey only had 57 pitches going into the inning
  8. Intramural Legend
Guess that brings up a good point (Molitor vs. Vavra) what is the hierarchy of Twins coaches this year?
  9. Intramural Legend
Wow, talk about falling apart in a single inning after what was an excellent beginning
  10. Intramural Legend
    blech
  11. Intramural Legend
Australia was pretty great. New Zealand was much better in my opinion
  12. Intramural Legend
May be a little gun shy after the last one. You have to believe Gardy wasn't to happy with him

I'm glad my wife is not reading this thread. We just got back from Australia and New Zealand, and she is already looking to plan our next big trip.

There we go Mauer! *we in the you sense. I am just sitting on my couch...
  15. Intramural Legend
Seems to be sitting ~91-92 by FSN's numbers
  16. Intramural Legend
I am certainly liking these quick innings by a Twins pitcher!
  17. Intramural Legend
Agree that he will come around, but it sure does seem odd to see him in a slump like this. That always seemed to be one of his best assets was avoiding these.
  18. Intramural Legend
I'm not sure what game he is watching then. That wasn't being aggressive, that was being reckless
  19. Intramural Legend
Will certainly take a few more innings like that one out of Pelfry
  20. Intramural Legend
I'm kind of surprised that Bert called out the Vavra on that play. Maybe they have the green light to be a bit more critical of certain people this year.
  21. Intramural Legend
I think he must have played beer league softball over the winter. You send them every time assuming they can't make a throw from LF to home
  22. Intramural Legend
Ouch - seems like a good time to let your best hitter come up with the bases loaded and bust out of a slump...
  23. Intramural Legend
Pretty excited for this one, as I am "working from home" today. Sometimes the beginning of the season is such a tease with all of the day games. *Typed right as Dick tells me the game is not likely to start on time...yay

Is Gamecast off, or does this Ump really have a tight / inconsistent strike zone today?
