Now that was a Major League at bat by Refsnyder.

He'll never be a an Ortiz,

    No, I don't.

You guys make great and accurate comments about Cruz. It makes the Sano situation even more laughable.

6M$ man doctors about Sano: "We have the technology, we can rebuild him". Another Doctor: " And waste another 7 years and millions of dollars"? Another Doctor: " We could trade him to the Yankees, where he will flourish".

I guess showing your age is one of those things that just seems to happen one day. Almost seems in some cases to happen overnight. But, Cruz had such a good start, despite missing some games, that it's hard to believe just 4 weeks later it's time to cut bait.

Captain K goes downtown today. ................................does some souvenir shopping, before going to his hotel room. This after going 0 for 4.

It's so nice, not to see Gordon in LF.

Minaya has a cocky strut to the dugout. "Hey guys, only 1 earned run given up. You effers top that".

Ok, so once again the opposition comes into our home, pushes us around, bitch slaps us a little bit, a kick here and there, and a wad of spit in our faces. Yes, this is TWINS Country!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally figured it out. Falvey and Theilen leave the game early. They're driving home listening to the game on the radio. They never get the opportunity to see how a real bullpen performs.

Isn't there an opening for Sano at Mall of America?

Count me in, agreement. He's not worth the dozens of runs we've pissed away, waiting to see one of 440 ft homers. He regresses everytime he comes back from an injury. It's like he's got amnesia or a learning disorder. It's been what, 10 years, of waiting for this prospect? Give me a Refsnyder or anyone of 24 other Twins who at least contribute positively.

Sano is like an open book. My 2 yr old grandson walked in and said " trow da ball, low and outside, Mr. pitcher".

I know managers get more credit than they deserve when a team wins, just like they get too much blame when a team loses. But in my opinion, the biggest disappointment of 2021 is Baldelli. Yes, the injuries are many, and the FO's rebuilding of the bullpen is questionable (20/20 hindsight). But, Baldelli has been missing this year, when maybe he should be a little more visible. Light a few fires, kick a little dirt, show some emotion. I know that's not his 'personality', but he is a manager. You need to manage. You need to do something if you're not pleased with what's happening.

Baldelli slips down the runway, into the clubhouse to take a quick nap. All these decisions are making him sleepy.

Thielbar reminds me of the big dummy in "Full Metal Jacket" Come to find out he pitches like him too, probably.

Baldelli's got a movement for you.

If Minnesota loses this series to the Royals, at home. There is no way they have the chops to pull out of this hole, by playoff time.
  22. RickOShea
Let's see, no Wes, yet. Let's give Shoe an opportunity to work through this. Baldelli will let him give up a big bomb or another couple of bleeders.

Stashak doing a good job squelching the Royals.

    OUCH!!!!!!!

I find it discouraging that when young players come up to the majors, they already are having a shift thrown at them. I would hope young hitters would learn to hit to all fields and go with the pitch, while in the minors. I guess it's the same with pitchers, who don't have an array of pitchers or who can't pitch more than an inning or two. The minors really have seemed to regress when it comes to teaching the basics.
