  1. 1. Not Megill's best pitch 2. Hitter's count 3. Center cut 4. Judge's ability 5. Rare time a Twins' reliever doesn't issue a walk Result: Freeze, Gopher!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Got to hand it to Megill. He very rarely shows dominance. He has to walk someone, or give up a hit to feel comfortable.
  3. 2 mistakes wrongs don't make a right.
  4. Twins are afflicted with "Catfish Hunter Syndrome". That's where you shoot yourself in the foot.
  5. If you only have warning track power and you're a left handed pull hitter at Yankee stadium , well............................ you probably aren't considered much of a power hitter.
  6. That's completely a b.s. comment LV. LL park come on????????? I've never been able to purchase a beer at a LL concession stand.
  7. That's sickening to see those fly balls to right field go for homers. It's almost embarrassing for the hitter as they begin their home run trot. But, a homer is a homer. I'd take it if a Twin hit it, it just still seems ridiculous.
  8. Speaking of Buxton, I remember seeing Mantle play at Met stadium. He was playing first base, and infield practice was not pretty for him, as he limped around. He wore a knee brace that made his knee look doubled in size. Yet, he pulled himself out to the field or home plate. You also have to understand he originally damaged his knees early on in his career (ran over a sprinkler head in the outfield). I guess it's not fair to compare buxton to Mantle, physically, but I just have that imaged burned in my memory.
  9. Bremer just mentioned Byron Buxton. Now there's a name from the past! How soon we, or at least I, forget.
  10. Curt flood was not only a mainstay of some great Cardinal teams, he was one of the best defensive centerfielders in all of baseball. I saw him play on several occasions and he was a solid star who blended well with other Cardinal stars.
  11. Kepler's got hip tightness. Got shelved from line-up about an hour before game.
  12. Okay, a nice win, followed up by a couple of Schlitz's and 4 or 5 white castles. Anice bumpy, stormy flight to NY, and we're set to kick some Yankee butt.
  13. Ouch! I guess I'm wondering why you would choose Toby? Wasn't he the guy in Roots?
  14. Has there anyhone else in MLB history to have the first name Toby, other than Harrah?
  15. Rocco gave Miranda a cherry PEZ as he entered the dugout, after the half inning.
  16. Great play by Kep. Heads up reaction. My man comes through, again. Twins' MVP, for sure. Max providing the max. ("Hey you, get away from my computer. What are you typing?")
  17. I heard rocco was upset because someone hid his pc under an IKEA catalog, in the crapper.
  18. The Kepler Effect. An athlete regresses as time goes on. It becomes a habitual regression. He mopes around and fails to perform normal functions.
  19. that weak hot, doesn't absolve his poor play.
  20. Kepler's butt should be tasting some pine, right now.
  21. The new nasty boys: Lopez and Pagan!. Probably, just forget that.
  22. Oh Man, Sanchez completely blocked the plate. No lane, whatsoever. Sorry, just auto typed on my pc.
  23. Perkins "Oh, he didn't have it today". That's the difference between amateurs and professionals.
  24. Kepler choked. He makes that play 98 out of 100 times.
  25. Hard to legislate athletic ability or instinct. Hey, that's his new nickname: The Inkmaster
