Like CTTF, I got up early this morning to watch the Granddaughter, and then spent the day accomplishing honey-do's including painting the garage door Mrs Chief saw fit to back through recently, so if I nod off someone pinch me.

I remember when Dougie M was in front of him. I couldn't wait for him to be called up. The Anticipation was as acute as I ever experienced... I've been a big Morneau fan ever since.

If Smalley were to ask TR about not eating any of Morneau's salary in order to get a better return, would Roy still have a job come the top of the 4th inning?

MLB Network has the Pirates game on. Morneau just walked into the dugout with a big smile on his face. He looks very strange in a Pirates uniform.

Whether there are reasons for it or not, the Morneau thing has me depressed. A sad conclusion to a sad situation.

 

Contending clubs circling the carcass of the Twins organization like vultures, looking to pick clean the bones of what little meat remains.
