Reginald Maudling's Shin Provisional Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Scott Diamond & Sam Deduno>Sandy Koufax & Don Drysdale
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 I understand there are some that are lobbying for a game threader badge and a mention that one person wanted to hand out trophies. Well I assume i will get neither, so can I get a participation certificate? i'm sorry they have to be earned... But you are welcome to join and start earning.
CairoCrown Provisional Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Scott Diamond & Sam Deduno>Sandy Koufax & Don DrysdaleThat's science.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Scott Diamond & Sam Deduno>Sandy Koufax & Don Drysdale It's close, but given that Drysdale's dead and Koufax is 73 I'm forced to agree.

Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Last two pitching performances will lead to a solid, solid 28th ranking in pitching.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 I told everyone after the Doumit Dinger... "That'll be all we need" once again... I'm telekinetic!!!
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 i'm sorry they have to be earned... But you are welcome to join and start earning. Yes. I need to know his opinion on the Ginger vs. Olivia debate, for instance.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Well, Sandy's been retired since the 60s and Double D is deceased, so I guess Scott and Sam are greater than the Dodger greats at this time. FWIW, Koufax is/was the best pitcher I ever saw--I only really remember two pitches--a great fast ball and an outstanding 12-6 curve.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 That's science. In terms of the Science of pitching, Diamond is to either Koufax or Drysdale approximately as Phil Niekro is to Diamond. / in terms of results, Terry Felton comes to mind

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Magic number? We can't post it... Out of respect for Grimes... That's his bit. He actually gets all royalties.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 You'll never get there, dear. Damn ... always the also ran.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Speaking of Dodgers, I just watched Matt Guerrier pitch himself into and out of a jam. Matt looks about only 80-90% as good as he used to, and he may have injured his hand on the last play of the inning.

glunn Community Moderator Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 That entire paragraph applies to every 2013 Dodger. I am amazed by how poorly the Dodgers and Angels are playing, considering their large payrolls and supposed superstars. On the other hand, it makes it cheaper for me to score tickets on Stubhub when the Twins come to town.

neauMor Provisional Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Yes. I need to know his opinion on the Ginger vs. Olivia debate, for instance. Wow a debate for this? Well being I have met the legend that is Oliva, I will have to say Ginger. Why not Mary Ann though?
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Wow a debate for this? Well being I have met the legend that is Oliva, I will have to say Ginger. Why not Mary Ann though? You know Olivia? The Olivia?
