Louie Varland struck out seven more batters for Cedar Rapids tonight to put himself over the 100-strikeout mark on the season. Also, Nick Gordon hit a home run for St. Paul, Trey Cabbage and Spencer Steer went back-to-back to hit both of their 21st homers of the season and 5-8 catcher Jeferson Morales hit his first home run since being promoted to Cedar Rapids. The Twins were off Thursday, but here are some highlights from the prospects.
