Hmm, not much happening on this thread. Of course, I guess I'm partly to blame for that, not chiming in until now. What I wanted to say is regarding position players pitching.

It's too bad Dave Winfield never had the chance to do that. He was dominating as a pitcher when the Gophers were in the 1973 CWS.
