I said "by noon". DNS propagation is a funny thing. You never know how long it's going to take. In this case, it was about 20 minutes.

Sad to see the site go the way of the dodo. Much thanks to RP and others for all the effort over the years. Surely the current state of the Twins played some role, but I'm sure the BYTO spirit will live on.

RP, I never got a chance to thank you for all the hard work you put in. I wanted to do so over on the BYTO board but never got the chance(combination of being a lazy ass and then spent yesterday in hospital waiting rooms with a dead phone). I mostly lurked but enjoyed every snarky and informative comment. Now I'm going to have to get a new homepage.

Of course, byto.com gets some serious recognition from Gardy in his post game chat the day before it is shutdown...I knew he lurked our site for ideas. Is there any chance we can just add another forum sub-page for BYTO'ers?

i think the byto folks should be segregated from the rest of the td folks so our tone is more readily understood. it'd be like wearing an ed hardy shirt to a club - you've already tipped everyone off that you're a d-bag so it won't come as a surprise when you act like one.
