He did indeed... I remember that... He also announced the loss of Bambi's mother. That a little known nugget.

 

Although I was 5 years old, I remember the day John Lennon was murdered. My parents, were in there early 20's and were weepy, shocked and mourning. It seemed like everyone was depressed for a bit after that happened. That was a crummy time in Western Culture History.

 

I was also sad for Bambi when her mother died - I tipped her extra for her couch dance.

The game thread is like going to the ball park with my buddies, only not paying for $9 beers or tickets, and way better network than 4G in a ballpark full of people doing something other than following the game
