Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 YES announcers are saying the Twins are the only team that doesn't shift for McCann. Oh, that crafty Gardy...always one step ahead of the other managers. They've said that every at McCann has had during this entire series.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 My guess...Jim Kaat. What are we guessing? I want to play.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Gardy continues his sterling challenge record... Mike Berardino @MikeBerardino · 1m#mntwins are now 5-8 (13 total) on their challenges this year. Opponents are 4-4 (8 total)
Trevor0333 Provisional Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Having Hughes on that 3 year deal is looking so nice right now.

JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Twins broadcast trivia question: which Twins pitcher has the most career K's vs the Yankees. I guessed Kaat, too. Schedule was more balanced so I think that would contribute.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 I know...they're informative, but quite repetitive! And also, they keep repeating things. Yeah ... I gave them the benefit of the doubt after the first game ... then it comes up ... again ... yesterday and i'm like ... don't you have any new material? But I don't know what it's like up there calling games, so, meh ... I chalk it up to me not liking most things (if not all) Yankees
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Twins pitcher with most strikeouts vs. the Yankees since '61 Thankyou, I'll go with Eddy Bane.

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 It was a pretty close play, its probably a play that the challenge was going to whatever the initial call was. Then, uh, don't waste your challange. It baffles me how any team can be below .500 on challenges. They all have access to replays before they actually have to challenge.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Kubel, Pinto......that is all.......
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 Twins broadcast trivia question: which Twins pitcher has the most career K's vs the Yankees.Santana. Edit: that's my guess, not the answer

I hate everything but Rivera and Jeter, so next year I can officially hate everything Yankee
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Okay, Howard Sinker posts a menu for Yankee Stadium. What seems more absurd? Nachos Grande (cheese, salsa, sour cream) $12.00Fresh Popcorn $7.75 I realize it depends on the size but the popcorn still seems more absurd to me. I was in New York City once. Probably around 1996. I bought a Mountain Dew and it cost 35 dollars.

diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Having Hughes on that 3 year deal is looking so nice right now. In a year or two, people will scream at management for not making it a longer deal.
