Okay, Howard Sinker posts a menu for Yankee Stadium. What seems more absurd?

 

Nachos Grande (cheese, salsa, sour cream) $12.00

Fresh Popcorn $7.75

 

 

I realize it depends on the size but the popcorn still seems more absurd to me.

Such a great instinctive play by Dozier. No way he is ever moving off 2nd, the guy just continues to amaze the way he has transformed his game.

Yep, they are selling about 4 cents worth of popcorn for 7.50.

Yeah, that's why I was surprised at Howard's comment on the Nachos. At least you get cheese.

 

Although cheese, salsa, sour cream sounds a bit like regular Nachos to me not Grande but maybe you get more than 5.

I always made sure my waitstaff knew the profit margin on every menu item, and I set goals for the mix of items I wanted them to sell. They felt involved, and really gave a **** about what we were trying to accomplish.

Attakid Plouffsie! For the second consecutive day, the guy after Mauer picks him up after he failed to score a RISP (although in all fairness, Mauer hit his ball better than Plouffe)
