We put a lineup on the field last night that would at best be a .500 team in AA. Our lead off hitter is barely over .250 with no speed or power. Our free agent LH power hitter is on the bench against a righty. How can a team that projected to be a playoff team be this horrible?
One of the problems (there are many) is that our "best" hitter has a slightly better average than Robbie Grossman. I would almost rather have Jeff Reboulet or Chip Hale than Grossman. Grossman's best attribute is that he looks like he should be a stud ballplayer.
As Rosario goes, so go the Twins. The unfortunate thing is if you based All-Star status on advance pub we'd have the entire outfield, pitching staff, and the starting 3rd basement for the AL. If only projections met reality in MN.... if only.
To me it looks like he's tipping off his curveball. It appeared that he slowed his motion down a few times. It doesn't take long for a team like the Angels to pick up on that.
