  1. He’s in a rut, I keep hoping he gets through it, maybe tonight
  2. Is it just me or are the Twins unusually slow at turning DP’s
  3. I keep hoping for the old Archer and keep seeing the older Archer
  4. A foot? So it almost hit him….I’ll give him a pass
  5. Man I thought I had found and reread all my posts, didn’t see that one , sorry But obviously he didn’t just throw in the towel. I just thought leaving Cano in was a turning point and he gained nothing by leaving him in
  6. Kind of proves my point, long season, already won the series, this game doesn’t mean that much…
  7. I never said he gave up, even though I was accused of it a number of times and told I don’t know how long a game is. Leaving Cano in until he got 1 out accomplished nothing except give up more runs. He should have replaced him after he pitched to three batters and couldn’t get any outs. That’s all I said
  8. I don’t think he just gave up. But I don’t believe he honestly tried to win. Leaving Cano in was a mistake, I said it in real time, just before Santana’s AB. He wasn’t going to all of of sudden be effective, if I can see that from my living room Rocco can see it from the dugout. I believe his attitude was, we already won this series, so I’m leaving a Cano in and we’ll see what happens. Hardly a winning attitude, more of an analytical approach
  9. Of course, if I am right, I’m sure we could all agree he shouldn’t be manager
  10. It’s called win expectancy, it’s a percentage, and it’s a real thing, and I would be willing to bet that Rocco knew exactly what his win expectancy was in the 6th inning with 2 on and nobody out and being down 2 runs
  11. It evened out, doesn’t always, the Arraez ab was blatant, almost seemed like the ump was gunning for Arraez
  12. I disagree in this case. Cano comes in in the 6th and first three hitters reach, now it’s 2-0, 2 on and nobody out. He needs to pull Cano but his analytics tell him he’s gonna lose this one anyway so he leaves Cano in. They are behind 6-0 because of that decision. The offense comes back in the 8th and 9th without the managers help, partly because “it’s Buxtons day off” and he is “unavailable”.
  13. In spite of the umps and their own manager, the Twins come back and sweep the Royals.
  14. That what makes him a good hitter, he can adjust to everything. That ump was too much for him though
  15. That what makes him a good hitter, he can adjust to everything. That ump was too much for him though
  16. Also, had he not fouled off those other pitches he would have been called anyway, he never had a chance in that ab
  17. Can’t do it. It’s Buxton’s day off.
