  1. And Field of Dreams is stoopid boring. Not a fan.
  2. Moneyball's cool. I forgot about it...but, I still don't think it makes my list.
  3. Man, I'm just running away with Post of the Day.
  4. I've never seen For the Love of the Game. I didn't realize this was a must-watch. Looks like "movie people" hate it, but perhaps "baseball people" do not.
  5. Oh, you, old sonofagun. Are you funnin' on us?
  6. Why don't they want us to be happy?
  7. Bite your tongue, damn you.
  8. Four against the Crew! You know what to do! Four against the Crew! You know what to do!
  9. Have you guys seen Everybody Wants Some yet? So much fun. In my opinion, it has immediately thrust itself into the cannon of great baseball movies even though there's extremely little baseball in it. In that regard, it's kind of like, what the Thin Red Line is to war movies, Everybody Wants Some is to baseball movies. It's forced me to make some adjustments to my list. Titles followed by rationale. 1. Major League - Counting 1 and 2 together here. Half of the things I say throughout the course of my everyday life are from Billy Madison. The other half are from Major League. 2. The Sandlot - God, I wish that I could have had that childhood. I watch it annually. 3. Bull Durham - I insist upon believing that the characters in this movie are the truest representation of baseball people that the world has ever seen on screen. Also - hilarious. 4. Baseball (Ken Burns) - Need to break open the smelling salts at times, but holy moly. That's a thorough history. 5. Everybody Wants Some - See Bull Durham, but arguably funnier. 6. Rookie of the Year - "Excuse us ladies...excuse us." 7. The Natural - Because there have to be at least one real movie on this list. 8. Bronx is Burning - It's not quite a movie, and it's not quite a show...but, man! 9. A League of Their Own - Those skirts can ball. 10. Bad News Bears - In my book, children saying swears and smoking cigarettes is going to land you in the top ten in any category. So...how's about yous?
  10. Shortbread cookies? In soup?! Ain't got time for that ****.
  11. Yuh huh.
  12. Animal Crackers in soup? Whose ***ing idea was that in the first place? Gee whiz.
  13. Don't know about you, but I want to see a birth certificate, get some bone density exams, DNA samples, meet with school teachers...you know, again.
  14. I'm on hold for three days and they patch me through to some two-bit intern. Unbelievable.
  15. Vanimal, I'm disappointed by your leave of absence, but don't mess it up with that little philly of yours. Could be our magic.
  16. Feels important to note: Twins haven't lost since I saw that video of Bonnes doing the Snoopy dance at the Turf.
  17. Scrappy young group starts our 0-9, wins World Series. The 30 for 30 is going to positively shred.
  18. Brooks, your celebrating needs work.
  19. Only if he's willing to wear an ugly red shirt.
  20. MG: "Oswaldo, you're on an absolute tear. What's your secret?" OA: "Carlos, please tell Marney that I'm not talking to her."
  21. Three in a row! Oswaldo! Three in a row! Oswaldo!
  22. Is Sam Mitchell running the bench today?
  23. How do you know which carrier is for you? Oh, right.
