  1. eek, I was a second basemen for most of my life. never did quite do too well at short
  2. I only pretend to be a neurologist.
  3. not running OOB yesterday in the 9th inning might have been the bow on his going away present
  4. kinda funny though that he played yesterday. the HBP was last friday, was he not 100% yesterday too? I admittedly know zilch about brain injuries but I would find it hard to believe he developed concussion symptoms today that he didn't have yesterday (I assume he didnt have them since he was cleared to play)
  5. hard not to assume buxton's absence isn't related to the HBP the other day.
  6. There is no such thing as a sports curse, but there is definitely such a thing as wilting under pressure in sports. The games usually start off well because the pressure is relatively low. Then, as the missed opportunities begin to mount, so does the pressure. 5 men LOB in the first and 5th inning, could have put it away right there. Then the polanco throw..although it honestly looked like he was too laissez faire than anything. The better team doesn’t always win in baseball. 17 straight losses is incomprehensible to me. You’d luck yourself into at least one.
  7. I couldn’t have been higher on buxton than when he went down and plunked one into the outfield and then stole a base. That should have led to a run. But the rest of his at bats were the bad Byron we saw for so long. Flailing wildly at pitches out of the zone. His at bat in the 5th turned the game around. Not bunting was the right call, but that was such a bad at bat it turned the game around
  8. May and Rogers did well. Maeda was ok. Other than that
  9. I’m still sitting here trying to comprehend how polanco threw that ball away. Incomprehensible
  10. Yes, true, my mind is so fried right now I forgot he even pitched
  11. I guess. He was ok, hard to go Only 5 innings and be brilliant. Would have wanted one more inning out of him. Could have made it so that romo never got in
  12. There wasn’t one guy who did a good job today except for Taylor Rodgers.
  13. Isn’t there ANYONE else that can bat
  14. Now here come the hits lol
  15. He made it better by not bothering to run out his ground ball
  16. Rosario doesn’t even run, **** this
  17. The good news is that berrios, who is always a basket case, has the ball tomorrow
  18. Quite a step down from reardon and Aguilera
