    LA is also 48 games above .500 and has a 13.5 game lead. A 10 game win streak would do wonders for most every team.

    Hey, all I'm saying is that a team with legitimate playoff aspirations needs to beat the less talented teams, especially with their best starters throwing. If we lose tonight, since august 21, the twins will have gone 8-7 against not one team above .500...it's crunch time now, have to be better!

    The rays are 26-30 since July 1. The AL is a mess, 11 of 15 teams are "still alive". This is a series we need to win. maybe we will. And with our thin/shaky starting rotation, we need to do better than 0-2 in Santana/berrios starts, that's all

    And so are the blue jays. A lot of teams are "in the hunt" this year, doesn't mean they are a good club.

    simply can't struggle like this against the dregs of the leagues in a playoff race.
