  1. The Goofs were up 24-7 to lowly northwestern. It’s now 31-24 with 5 seconds left and northwestern at the 11
  2. They’ve been listening to the same song for the last 45 minutes in the clubhouse. Weird
  3. Heck of a pick there by the second baseman Happy days are here again
  4. This is not surprising but also not good
  5. Duran couldn’t control a tricycle at the moment
  6. Both outs were recorded on full count pitches out of the zone 😬
  7. Old man/cloud moment, but perhaps the guy who seems to get overly amped in these situations would do better without the silly over the top entrance
  8. Duran is going to be an absolute thrill for the playoffs
  9. If duran gets overly amped for THIS moment…
  10. I don’t know, seemed like he took his time going around the bases
  11. I’m following the live stats on yahoo(!) sports
  12. Jeeze don’t let the royals get hot 😂
  13. Need to get faster internet then 😉
  14. What a comeback. Terrible move to walk Jeffers
  15. Also an interesting note, the reduced time a player these days has to spend on the IL (or DL back in the day). Could skew the numbers substantially
  16. Take my hamstring, Royce! (please)
  17. Scoreless outing for Floro. As expected. edit: Nevermind Double edit: Nevermind the Nevermind
  18. The way I see it, players are definitely handled more lightly than they used to be. Whether it be scheduled off days aka “load management” or inning/pitch count limits for pitchers. One would think that those things would reduce the number of days lost to injury, but at the very least, players don’t seem to be getting hurt less often than they used to. That being said, Royce tried to stay in the game when it didn’t look like he should have.
