  1. All I’m saying is, I think this move sets the Vikings up for a reach/overpay but with a lower chance of success. A placeholder type should be at least average or you’ll be tossing that new draft pick in in week 10.
  2. Again, better chance of a top ten not working out than a top ten success. And we aren’t picking top ten anyway unless we trade up and hamstring further drafting down the road while “in a rebuild”
  3. Where do you rank Bryce Young, Anthony Richardson, Zach Wilson, Trey lance, Justin fields (11), Sam darnold, Jose Rosen and Daniel jones? Oh, and baker mayfield, who finally arrived in year 6.
  4. The exception that proves the rule. You could name 10 top ten busts off the top of your head.
  5. By the time JJ turns 30, our window should be wide open 😂 just kidding
  6. I don’t know, why?
  7. Apparently they expect a rookie QB to come in and replace the production of a top ten QB in a year or two. Because the only place Darnold could hold is the page in the playbook. His numbers are bad bad. Have a season or two of guys throwing hospital passes to JJ and he’ll be gone before you could dance the griddy. So essentially you’re really drafting a guy would play very soon. Vikings are in a brutal spot right now. Not high enough in the draft to get the more talented quarterbacks, won’t get higher without trading up (counterintuitive if in a “rebuild”), and the lack of a viable competent “placeholder” Strap in folks it’s going to get ugly.
  8. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10112583-nfl-rumors-49ers-sam-darnold-linked-to-vikings-after-cousins-falcons-contract Going from Kirko to Sam darnold. That would be can’t miss television.
  9. 🎶 don’t know what ya got til it’s go-oone 🎶
  10. We’ll revisit this for when Justin fields has a QBR of 37 by week 12 😉
  11. Let’s just hope (insert player name here) is at least as good as Kirk was. So a top 10 guy. Easy peasy
  12. I have a feeling the Vikings are going to rue this decision.
  13. It can be both. Passed up a 48 yarder and a 45 yarder and lost by 3. Both makeable kicks. He cost them that game in Dallas by being overly aggressive too.
  14. If Detroit doesn’t touch that early,, wonder if they could have gotten it
  15. A good kick.
  16. I’d be sweating bullets right now as a SF fan
  17. Yeah when it comes to schemes, not leaving points off the board
  18. Goff’s receivers and coach did the guy no favors
  19. Being outscored 27-0 in the second half is bleeping wild
  20. Damn, niners about to call ballgame
  21. Some of these coaches want to reinvent the wheel at all times. Too smart for their own good
  22. Riverboat Dan is killing his team.
  23. That was a cheap shot, surprised it wasn’t flagged
