The Seahawks can absolutely get to a Super Bowl with Darnold right now especially if they get a bye or a home game. Their team is good enough where he wouldn’t have to carry them and the NFc is pretty open. That’s a heck of better chance than McCarthy or whoever gives us.

At the end of the day, the Seahawks are now tied for the top seed in the NFC. Getting a bye or a home game in the first round goes a long way to getting the chance to win one. Darnold wasn’t great and he may fail again, but don’t you just have to get in and anything can happen ? And I’m saying this as someone who was shook to pieces at how badly Darnold performed in the playoffs, but I’m not a front office executive

Eagles, rams. Philly had one losing season between super bowls. Rams have had one losing season since their Super Bowl win and are among the favorites in the nfc again

This is not competitive bad though. And there is zero, zero, guarantee that the team is any closer to winning a Super Bowl than they were if Sam Darnold or someone competent were still playing quarterback. We’re not even top 5 for the draft at this point
