  1. Man Carlos what were you doing? Almost at third on a line drive
  2. I swore I saw a trap in real time. But it didn’t
  3. That ball hit the ground edit: it absolutely did not hit the ground
  4. And he couldn’t score on that 🫣
  5. Did we just pinch run in the 5th inning? 😂
  6. I know alcala kind of started this whole mess down in Texas, but have to imaging we could have used him more than St. Paul
  7. I hope not. It’s buggy enough as is 😂😉
  8. We can all hate Rocco times infinity, but the effort and results the players are producing is rather disgraceful
  9. Not as bad as the Vikings, but the worst in twins history, strictly talking about games ahead and how quickly they blew it
  10. I wonder which guys weren’t taking extra BP, as Carlos indicated.
  11. Just quickly scanning the comments….was the 100 games being at the top done tongue in cheek? Please tell me it was
  12. Wait we already DFA’d that Irvin guy? Good grief he lasted shorter than that guy we signed at the deadline, who’s name I totally forget
  13. You make a good point, but for me it’s about cheapening the playoffs. Does MLB want to be like the NHL and NBA, who have reduced their regular seasons to basically meaningless games by allowing every team around .500 to qualify? MLB plays more games than any other league by far. If you can’t get yourself 10 or so games above .500 after SIX MONTHS of playing, I’m sorry but you aren’t good enough. It’s never going to change because it makes money for the league. And sure, it adds the Cinderella NCAAB vibe to see a team like Arizona go all the way to the World Series. But the MLB playoffs are and have always been a crapshoot. Arizona was not a better team than the dodgers last year. I hate that a team is rewarded for having a good couple weeks when a team ran the league for 6 months and gets bounced so quickly. I was excited to see if the twins could win a couple postseason games or take a series back when they were like 15 over .500. Right now, I’d rather watch the Thursday night NFL game tomorrow than see a bunch of guys who have quit.
  14. To be fair, I changed my comment to be less smarmy. I’d like us to be a good team. We do have a horrible record against good teams. 7-21 against NYY, Baltimore and Cleveland. That’s bad. Having the tiebreaker over two other teams that also don’t deserve to keep playing is pretty meaningless.
  15. The point was that none of the teams outside of Cleveland is worthy. But at least Cleveland would have qualified in the past based on their winning the division. Terrible white sox + expanded playoffs. I bet Boston and Seattle would have loved to get 13 games against the white sox
  16. Records against current AL playoff teams: Guardians: 19-23 Tigers: 20-24 Royals: 22-24 Twins: 21-33 🤮
  17. The playoffs never should have been expanded past 5 teams. Actually it shouldn’t have been expanded past 4. The white sox are the only reason the central is getting 3 teams in. None of those teams are good enough.
  18. It’s not really a schtick at all. The twins have had the great fortune of playing 13 games against a team about to set the modern day record for single season futility. They are 69-75 against the rest of baseball. Interestingly, the royals and tigers also only have one loss against the white sox. But they’ve done slightly better against everyone else, and that’s why they’ll (likely) get in and the twins will be playing golf. The twins are 21-33 against the current AL playoff qualifiers. That’s a .388 winning percentage. In other words, that sucks. If not for MLBs insatiable desire for more revenue from the expanded playoffs, the twins would have been eliminated already. The twins don’t deserve anything except a house cleaning, on and off the field.
  19. Well, you’ve come to the wrong place
  20. What if you’ve already spent 3 hours doing that in front of a stadium full of people?
  21. I think it’s time for a closed door team meeting
