It would have been hard as hell to lose out with how bad Washington and especially the giants are. Giants simply didn’t try to win today right from the start when they went for it on 4th and 5 lol 13 passes in an NFL game in dry weather post-1960 is crazy

I just figured they would finish those last 5 games 1-4 maybe 2-3. If McCarthy had played like he was playing before, 1-4 or 0-5 wasn’t out of the question. Granted, we’ve played some pretty bad teams.

It would be bad for scheduling purposes but totally remarkable if the Vikings were able to finish in 3rd place, all things considered. Real shame McCarthy was lost. He was showing such progress. Would have the tiebreaker over Detroit
