  7. http://www.ibabuzz.com/prepcorner/files/2015/02/ecct0510prepround10.jpg Justin Hooper is a tall lefty out of De La Salle High School (California) who was ranked near the top of many draft boards after his junior year, but fell significantly after the start of his senior season. Hooper has a tendency to be very wild, but has some heat, usually sitting 92-94, but can reach 97 mph and also features a hard curveball, and a changeup that needs work. His delivery is violent, throwing from a fairly low arm angle, and has some deception in it, but is not loose at all, making his delivery look full of effort. Hooper could either go in the first round, or fall significantly due to questions raised about his command and ability to be consistent, if he falls he would likely be unsignable, since he is committed to UCLA. There is a ton of upside, due to his ability to reach the high nineties, and his hard curveball and changeup have the ability to be slightly above average, but it would be no surprise if he didn’t reach the big leagues until 2022. Hooper will definitely be given the chance to start, but I think that there is a very good chance that he will be a relief pitcher in the big leagues. I don’t see a fit with the Twins, and have not heard anything connecting them, but if they do like him they might be better off working out a drop and taking someone like James Kaprielian, DJ Stewart, or even Mitch Hansen in the first round, but I think that scenario is unlikely.
  8. It is quite obvious you are not a lawyer, so I don't think you needed to say that.
  9. No, tributes to War and Peace would be posting videos of Jose Valverde pitching.
  10. My guess is when Graham comes off the list Zach Granite will go on.
  11. Hu is ranked 23rd by mlb.com right now.
  12. The Twins play the Tigers today, and Ricky Nolasco (2-1, 9.00 ERA) will face Kyle Lobstein (3-2, 3.00 ERA), always33 will have lineups and weather after your "Five Things to Think About.” 1. Roommates— Well, one of the things we are going to think about tonight is roommates, but I have a problem, one of my roommates is a sophomore in college who likes to wake me up with songs from Disney movies, and his favorite one is Under the Sea, and here are the lyrics: The seaweed is always green In somebody else's lake
You dream about going up there
But that is a big mistake
Just look at the world around you
Right here on the ocean floor
 Such wonderful things surround you
What more is you lookin' for? Under the sea
 Under the sea
 Darling it's better
 Down where it's wetter
 Take it from me
Up on the shore they work all day
Out in the sun they slave away
 While we devotin'
 Full time to floatin'
Under the sea Down here all the fish is happy
As off through the waves they roll
The fish on the land ain't happy
They sad 'cause they in their bowl
But fish in the bowl is lucky
They in for a worser fate
One day when the boss get hungry Guess who's gon' be on the plate Under the sea
 Under the sea
 Nobody beat us
 Fry us and eat us
In fricassee
We what the land folks loves to cook
Under the sea we off the hook
 We got no troubles
 Life is the bubbles
 Under the sea
 Under the sea
 Since life is sweet here
We got the beat here
Naturally
Even the sturgeon an' the ray
They get the urge 'n' start to play
 We got the spirit
 You got to hear it
Under the sea The newt play the flute
 The carp play the harp
 The plaice play the bass
 And they soundin' sharp
 The bass play the brass
 The chub play the tub
The fluke is the duke of soul
 (Yeah)
 The ray he can play
 The lings on the strings
 The trout rockin' out
 The blackfish she sings
The smelt and the sprat
 They know where it's at
An' oh that blowfish blow Under the sea
 Under the sea
 When the sardine
 Begin the beguine
It's music to me
What do they got? A lot of sand
We got a hot crustacean band
 Each little clam here
 Know how to jam here
 Under the sea
 Each little slug here
 Cuttin' a rug here
Under the sea
 Each little snail here
 Know how to wail here
That's why it's hotter
 Under the water
 Ya we in luck here
 Down in the muck here
Under the sea I don't know if I should be offended over them forgetting the cello, but I think that a cello might be offended if it were made to sound sharp in a "hot crustacean band", and by the way, after that description I'm not surprised that Ariel wanted to leave, and it sure ain't nice to hear when I get up in the morning, but you know what? That isn't the most obnoxious thing my roommate does, he roots for the Yankees. 2. Comparisons-- Speaking of the Yankees, I once had to write a paper comparing two things that most people wouldn't think of comparing, but make them think that they were similar, so I wrote a paper comparing the Soviet Union and the New York Yankees, I don't particularly remember what I said, but I might have made an attempt at saying that Stalin and Steinbrenner sound alike, Gorbachev and Girardi had similar success, Cashman and Putin (Putin was a KGB guy) look alike etc. But if I have to write another paper like that I will write a paper comparing the modern day United States Government and Minnesota Twins, both have people complaining about how lax their defense is, how they have to never stop spending money, and how they should go about trading with other countries/teams. I think that paper might get even more interesting than the other, and who knows? I might even find a way to compare Mike Radcliff and Rand Paul. 3. Accents-- Okay, we were just talking about the United States, and I would like to point out to anybody who doesn't know this (I hope you all know this), but different regions of the United States have different accents, and even different areas inside the same state have different accents, but some people like to put broader descriptions out there and just say "Southern accent," or "New England accent", but this is hard to tell what exactly a person means, sort of like how sometimes we couldn't tell what exactly an announcer meant if they all they said was, "The ball was caught in the air" because it could have been caught by any fielder, a fan, or the announcer himself. Well what I am trying to get at here is that there is such a thing as a "Silicon Valley accent," you may not have necessarily heard it before, but if you have had computer problems and call the company who made the computer, called the Twins because you wanted a schedule, or even changed garbage services you most likely have heard it, and what they usually say is, "Your call is on hold, please wait," and then go on with an attempt to brainwash you into thinking they are the best, nicest company ever, but usually have you thinking otherwise by the time they are done. My family once even had a weather radio that talked with a Silicon Valley accent, and even that would convince you to think the opposite of what they were trying to tell you, and I think that might be the Twins front office, the media, chronic liars, and countless other people's problems. 4. Garbage-- I think I just mentioned this somewhere, but I was talking about garbage services, and right now I am going to talk about the actual garbage. Have you ever smelled bananas or strawberries that were beginning to rot? That is garbage, and sometimes you actually eat it, but the thing that I ate that tasted the most like garbage was melted swiss cheese toast, and I am going on the record right now to warn anyone who hasn't tried it that it is comparable to 2011-14 Twins pitching, and there I go comparing things again, I guess if I wrote a paper comparing melted swiss cheese toast and Twins pitching I might shock my teacher. 5. Twins Daily-- The last game thread I did I talked about "The Origin of Game Threads," but thankfully ChiTown corrected me on Sunday and informed me that there was no big bang, and that Twins Daily and Game Threads had a creator, but she did not announce whether or not she came across any missing links well she was researching them, but my guess is that she did not, because Brock has done a great job keeping Twins Daily up and going, and I would like to thank all the Twins Daily owners and moderators for taking care of such a wonderful website, it has become just about the only website I go on, and that is why my percentage of missing links per page has gone down significantly, why I rarely go on my other social media websites anymore, and why I even forget to check my emails, so when I finally remember to check them I have tons of emails in my inbox, and missed all the rare bird alerts.
  13. That there are a bunch of crabby fans in Twins Territory, me included.
  14. Torii is killing his former team.

  18. Gibson strikes out the side!
  19. Me too, I imaging Hicks falling asleep in the box like he always is, swings and hits a foul ball near his feet, tries to jump out of the way, falls down, and chokes on his sunflower seeds.
