    Who is playing "meaningful games in September"? Seven of the 30 MLB teams. (Jays, Yankees, Astros, Rangers, Twins, and Angels). Not one NL team is playing meaningful games in September. That is, their fates have been decided - those who are in are in, those who are out are out. Kind of interesting, I think.

    Just joining you all now ... I keep hearing Hawk say "Kansas City Special." There, he said it again. He must stay up nights thinking of new ways to annoy his audience. I looked online ... found a discussion of Sox fans ... from about a month ago ... and none of them understand where it came from. We all know what it means of course.

    Every Twins player has been hated this year for one reason or another and then either the player became better and thus got accolades followed, or the player tanked (Schaffer, etc.) and was removed from our consciousness. We are a bunch of know-it-alls. Admit it.
