Are you going dressed as a Twins player? Or are you going incognito? Personally, I never wear any sports gear. I'm there to watch, not cheer or be SEEN.
I hate it when fans boo pick off moves, no matter how excessive they are. To me, someone should measure the amount of boos per stadium to rank the stupidest fans. Oakland's fans are noted for their intelligence, but I don't believe it.
I don't know. The last 3 years in AAA he has thrown out 41% of baserunners attempting to steal. That is more than excellent. Suzuki this year has thrown out 19.6%. (League Average 32%.)
Besides the obvious needs (relief pitching and a shortstop) ... I am thinking of a resurgent Joe Mauer. For him to hit .300 this year - given that he has played in all but one game, and presuming he will play in all but one game the remainder of the way - he will have to hit .336 the rest of the way. That would be some accomplishment. I say "Go Joe!" because that kind of hitting in the middle of the the order would put the Twins over the top. But can he do it? Given all the defensive shifting and his increased propensity to strike out? I doubt it very very much. [i posted this elsewhere today, too]

Is this the year the Twins turn the tables on the Yankees? I can read the future no better than I can predict what dreams I will have tonight. However, wins and losses being binary and dreams being nonlinear, I can positively go out on a limb and predict that I seem to think that the Twins will beat up on the Yankees who deserve all the beating up any team can give them.
Yes, Arcia is a possibly trade-worthy. He can hit home runs but he strikes out too much and can't play defense. I'm not sure what value has for another team, unless he can slot in as a permanent DH.
I made a reckless prediction last year that the Twins would win 92 games. This year I was all out of reckless predictions (or predictions of any other kind), so I let the year be what it would be, and look, it's been a good year.
Speaking of 9 to 5. Everyone (everyone) always (always) refers to "day jobs" as "9 to 5." But (but) whoever actually has worked from 9 to 5? I (me) have always worked (in those circumstances) from 8 to 5.
