If Morneau can put up these numbers as DH, no one is going to complain. Plus it should give Parmelee a chance in the majors. A lineup with a productive Morneau and Parmelee starting to come around? Sounds good to me.

Worst in history? Really? REALLY? wow. Can you at least wait until the season starts before you rip on the team. Thanks.

Nice catch John. I really hope the Twins only have 2 catchers.

I heard about this on KQ this morning. This guy has a lot of other issues besides this little threat. I don't know what he's thinking because he's not going to get anything out of this.

Rhett tweeted a few hours ago that the Twins are going to pay Zumaya the entire $850,000.

Got to love days when everyone hits.

    Anyone else's Gameday stop updating?

Just got back from lunch and saw this. Got to love it! Morneau might be a good fantasy waiver pickup.

Revere in RF. We'll see if he has a chance to make some plays.

I saw most of this last night, it got intense. I really don't think there needs to be a war between us. We are all in the same boat.

You cannot just single out the Twins here, EVERY team sees this as a business. Teams throw a ton of money at players to steal them from other teams. It's no different then Wal-Mart going into a small town and killing all the local business. There is no "nice" anymore. Agents have killed that. No team would keep a player on their payroll that they signed to a one-year deal that got hurt two days into spring.

It's all Perkins fault. He better be in the next set of cuts.

    Meh its spring training

Twins have a no-hitter going through 6 innings.

Anyone know what Morneau's average is over the last week? Has to be over .400

If you haven't closed your browser and re-opened it yet try that, otherwise I don't know what it could be.

Johan Santana was the biggest Rule 5 steal of all time. It rarely happens that a great player comes out of this draft.

Great job! Last season I was in Target Field before a game because I was able to go onto the field and watch batting practice. I was let in before everyone else and it is really different without fans all over the place.

I'm alittle suprised Manship already got sent down. He had a decent chance at making the team. That last spot should come down to Waldrop and Gray.

I just saw this and was about to post it. Everyone on Twins Daily can agree that the Marquis family is in our thoughts and we hope for a speedy recovery.

Hopefully Baker can get back into form soon. At least I got to see Doumit's bomb during lunch.

Casilla's game winning hit was the best. Everyone at my place was going crazy. I watched that replay so many times in the off-season.

White Sox fans are flooding our board...how about we wait until the season starts ok? As for the outfield move I think its a good idea. I like having Revere as a late inning replacement.
