    What a tedious and biased article. I am sorry, but posting a faux analysis piece while really just bloviating about Ryan is bogus. Torii Hnter has been a winner for many years. He is a leader and still can drive in runs. He is exactly what this team needs. If I were you, I'd take note that several people like the posts that disagree with you in one way or another. Wiseone, linus and twins saudi fan, right on.

    I like the signing as it adds a proven and durable arm that will be 20 percent of our SP corps. If Hughes repeats or comes close to his performance last year, Gibson continued to improve, May settles in, we have one spot for Rickey, Meyer or someone else that emerges, like Berrios. I see now the wisdom of being careful with Meyer. Made no sense to call him up last year. It would have been like betting on an inside straight in a non contending year. And I have had to get used to the naysayers on here. No matter what the Twins do there will be criitics. I see this as trying to help the team by bringing in a durable veteran arm in a position of need. Puts less pressure on the kids.

    Milone can't break a pane of glass with his fastball, so who cares if he has options?We need BETTER pitchers, not more of the same guys with 87 MPH fastballs. The guy is no Jamie Moyer. Duenslinger is on the bubble, but he is a better choice than Milone. Bye to Cola and Parm. I think we need to bring up the kids an let them play.
