  1. ROCCO!!!!! LARNACH HIT A ROCKET AGAINST A LEFTY AND HE GOT TO **SECOND** GASP, HOW ARE YOU GONNA ALLOW THAT???
  2. He's not very good. I found myself wishing for the road team's radio call on XM on the couple of weeks I couldn't watch games.
  3. Someone in here mentioned Keirsey earlier (I'd have quoted you if I could have found the damn post). He just tied the StP franchise record with 75 RBI in a season and has 119 hits on the year. I wonder how many of those came against lefties...oh wait, there's a way to find that out. .265-3-23, 20 BB, 44 K in 132 AB vs a lefty. Slashing .265/.369/.417. So yeah, he'd be wasted on the big club while Buxton was down because Margot and Martin have to get their time flailing away in center.
  4. How about one of the vets -- Correa, Santana, Pablo -- close the clubhouse doors and lay into some people if the manager is too scared/weak to do it.
  5. Hey Rocco, did you see that? Wallner hit another rocket off a lefty and he made it to first base after said rocket.
  6. Did you notice the infield in with it scoreless and 1st and 3rd? Why? Ball hit to shortstop, I want 2 out of that and last night notwithstanding, the Twins don't seem to cut down the contact play like they get cut down themselves on it. Mindboggling decisions on defensive alignment so early in a scoreless game.
  7. Actually, I'm wrong. It started because Castro decided he didn't want to lay out for a ball that landed a step in front of him. Remember when he was the 1st half MVP? He's been trash over the last month.
  8. And all of this started because Varland was too concerned with a runner at 1st that he was going to have no chance of picking off anyway.
  9. ATTABOY ROCCO, LET'S JUST LEAVE THE PITCHER IN WHO CAN'T MISS BATS
  10. Care to explain these hieroglyphics?
  11. Just get off the f-ing field, all of you. Let's get guys that want to play with their heads not stuck in their asses. GET VARLAND OUT OF THIS DAMN GAME
  12. This inning is showing how Cash just manages circles around Rocco, which is saying a lot because Cash is the dope who pulled Snell in a must-win World Series game against the Dodgers because he was facing the lineup a 3rd time, a lineup that was 0-6 against him.
  13. Defensive stupidity strikes again in this inning.
  14. DIVE FOR THE DAMN BALL!!!! You almost took that off your foot you were so close.
  15. I know I would relish a 5-run outing, especially if our pitchers gave up 4 or less.
  16. You're right. The 2-0 win over the Jays on Saturday is the only time all season, they've won a game scoring 2 runs or less.
  17. As soon as I saw the starting lineup with Jeffers in the leadoff spot and both Larnach & Wallner out of it, I figured it would be a loss. Correa and Buxton are still out and while they've been gone, Wallner is one of your best hitters. I don't care if the pitcher is throwing amphibiously (look up the reference), you have to put your best bats in the lineup in September, especially when two of your best bats are hurt. But we have a manager who decides to put names in a hat and draw them out to figure out his batting order. We have a manager who refuses to lay a bunt down to get 2nd and 3rd with 1 out in the 9th. We have a manager that is running scared to let a lefty batter face a lefty pitcher but will let a horrific-hitting catcher pinch-hit in a big situation. I'm really debating how close I want to sit to the dugout on Thursday to let my voice be heard.
  18. Whew. Hopefully they can take a couple of these next games so I'll feel better about going to see them on Thursday afternoon.
  19. That's pretty pathetic -- Vlady, Springer available in the 9th and they're practically in street clothes. How much do these guys make?
  20. Geez, now our best reliever has lost his mind. This team needs an enema.
  21. Hey Manny, it's a 9-run game, how about selling out for your pitcher to get out of the inning. But I know you're not known for your glove. Not even sure what you're known for.
  22. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  23. We've reached the window shopping portion of the night. And in an even more quizzical move, we pinch hit for an outfielder that is a better defender so we can more the terrible defender to the place where more range is needed.
