  1. I did not know biscuits had sons... Learn something new everyday. Thanks TD!
  2. Thanks for posting. Hard(er) to comment in ignorance... I like how we got Larnach and Julien layin' in the bottom of lineup weeds to ambush the naive lefty starter. Won't know what hit 'em! I do miss me the immanent possibility of a Margot pinch hit...
  3. I'm sure we'll see him. They still occasionally cut to him in the dug out. As to if he 'll play again this season? I don't know that one. But i am glad to get his understudies some stage time while we can.
  4. Sounds like a Lawrence of Arabia quote: The trick is not minding that it hurts.
  5. I liked how we came halfway back. If only we came halfway back every inning...
  6. Our puopon cue is a year late as he signed with the cards.
  7. If we mustard 5 runs a game (as on Monday apparently) would we ever see the end of the condiment jokes?
  8. Now there's a thought! Can we advance one of the rookies to the warning track, and promote them to Byron Buxton?
  9. And no more signs* or portends discussed before this game? I like to think resting starters to line them up for the next series or serieses... (what is the plural of series?) is something teams that have clinched do. But that would be hubris. (or a jinx, take your pick.) *not even wall drug signs?
  10. Curious, those line ups list different starters too.
  11. So... the difficult decision could have been avoided if you had just been allowed (or given appropriate opportunities) to drive more, or your family had gotten her a hairless cat.
  12. Is that why she needed to go totl the hospital?
  13. The phrase, "In play, run(s)" has been around for more than 2 decades, hasn't it?
  14. So he's... sweet? or do we boil him down to make rum? He might object.
  15. That does sound like the bright side. Well said!
  16. Looking for the baseball reference "battled his tail off" state...
