  1. I mean, he marched them 90 yards down the field..
  2. I’m just worried KC has the Bills number in the postseason. Feels like a Twins-Yankees thing almost.
  3. I was just going to say as that was happening, “hit the turf, don’t get fancy”…
  4. sometimes that arm wraparound is hard to see for whatever reason?
  5. Balt finally kept it north-south downhill, and got in the end zone. I guess this is what I was expecting from the start (did not see the 1st half)
  6. Strategic weasel prediction— if Buffalo wins, I am happy, if Baltimore wins, my prediction looks good. 🤣
  7. I would love that.
  8. With the score back to 7-7 now I will offer my tepid prediction that Baltimore wins tonight and then beats KC next week. They are clicking and just too good on offense and capable of out scoring teams. Not sure defensively. also damn I missed a good early game, but seeing Philly hang on.. yuck.
  9. I think that is an interesting point. If hypothetically the Pohlads came out tomorrow and declared bankruptcy (for real, not the Michael Scott way) and refused to sell or pay their people, what would MLB do. A side benefit to adding more revenue generating post-season games is that more of the middle of the pack teams have more chances at a postseason berth and therefore World Series appearance. So, narrowly speaking in terms of competition on the baseball field itself, the high payrolls of the Dodgers or Yankees and disparity compared to the Twins and other lower payroll teams does not bother me as much as it bothers the next person.
  10. Yes you are crazy -- for not spelling Pittsburgh with an H at the end? 🙂 Mike Tice came up as a Tight Ends coach, and Tice was... not good. Not sure who else fits that bill.
  11. The regular season was wild, but I think you have to say that for the Vikings and Lions, it ended in disappointment, right?
  12. Yeesh, Detroit had it all teed up, and pissed it away
  13. Or take the delay of game and punt
  14. I know it’s trendy to always go for it on 4th down, but I would have been ok with Houston punting on that last drive. Don’t teams have punters who can pin a team inside the 10 anymore?
  15. I don’t mind the Chiefs I just like to see different new teams get their day
  16. A ****ing TD and then a missed XP
  17. No I’m not talking about smoking gun evidence or entire officiating teams conspiring to fix games. More like officials questioning themselves out of fear of hurting the chances of a team everyone knows the NFL wants to see in the Super Bowl. The Patriots during the Brady years got tons of calls. The Packers under Rogers. The Chiefs are the new cool toy. It is a thing.
  18. I truly think there is something to this, and I am hoping something will happen next week that will be too embarrassing to ignore, when KC plays whoever. (Still hoping for a Texans miracle today.)
  19. Just like how Joe Mauer was always the MLB Player of the Month for January, the Twins have won the Prospect Ranking World Series for the past 12 years, and the Injury World Series for the past 7 years. Nothing to complain about! 😆
  20. If our guy has a great year, it’s proof he is now an elite weapon out of the bullpen and is fast becoming one of the best in MLB. If another team’s guy has a great year, he must be due for regression. Not sure how these things are determined. For the record, I do think Jax will be fine next year.
  21. Good list. #5 looks realistic. I just don’t know how Darnold can command any confidence in his Vikings teammates after what just happened. Every regular season win next year would be clouded with the narrative “yeah but wait until the playoffs”
  22. Double kudos, since you were the biggest Kirk supporter here, and you haven’t played that card at all the last two weeks 😀
  23. I mean, probably, but you never know. Mullins at least would be willing to sling it. Sticking with Darnold was a sure failure. I guess KOC gets some credit for speaking about Darnold in the past tense in his post game?
  24. KFAN guys already doing their thing: “how dare you suggest KOC pull Darnold out of the game” I just don’t get the media in this market.
