Good points. I think it's healthy that he got benched, but it's been blown out of proportion. He needs to learn that his actions affect his teammates. I can just imagine if he did that in the big leagues and Joe Mauer was hitting after him... Selfish baseball isn't fun to watch.
Yes, right by the sugar beet plant in Moorhead. It smells like sewer constantly. That would be the perfect place. Talk about home-field advantage -- all the opposing players would be puking most of the game.
That would be Hillsboro (ND) and Halstad (MN). My family owns some land in the latter, and we'd happily deed it to the city for $1. Otherwise, plenty of wheat and sugar beet land up there -- though the acreage is pretty expensive right now. No, nobody that lives in Fargo or GF ever leaves Fargo or GF except to go to MSP to see a Twins or Vikes game.
Usually there are a bunch of flights to Mesa and a few to Denver and Chicago and MSP. Oh well.. All I know is that it's usually about $300 cheaper for me to fly into MSP and make the 4 hour drive home rather than fly into Fargo.
People in Fargo are generally smart enough to realize that hockey sucks. However, Fargo definitely should get a hockey team downtown. There's plenty of buildings they could take down still and people have nothing better to do with their money in the winter other than buy a pizza and a six-pack of beer every Sunday to watch the Vikes underachieve.
Fargo rules. Broadway revitalized, good medical care, fun people who are very active in the summer, three good colleges... Clean air and good river fishing...
That's my area. F/M could probably support A or AA and draw more attendance than at Red Hawks games in the Northern League. Red hawks games are fun, but rather uninteresting as they are not in the Twins farm system. Get a team in the farm system and Fargo would give it a good home. Considering how many guys the Twins have that go up and down to AAA, FM might even be able to do that better than Rochester. Grand Forks is a godforsaken place that can't support much of anything. I lived there. Ugh...
Better lineup today from the plate. Still uninspiring. Though I must point out that last night we beat a great pitcher with the worst batting order I have seen in 30 years. That's why they play the games, I guess. Still, the Twins have a history of making average starting pitchers look like Cy Young winners.
Not that this applies to any one nurse in particular, and nothing to do with MM as i wouldnt care to speculate, but nurses are notorious for not taking care of themselves. Many if not most are overweight, many smoke, the job is stressful, etc...
