    I am battling this now, been a fan (at 8 yrs.old in1961) of the Twins and have no reason to spend my money on the lack of desire/discipline/knowledge of this current team. I was not for Molitor to manage, but had hope. I am losing that hope.... starting to look like a bunch of over paid has been/don't matter players! Shame on them and the Twins, after getting their new home park, thanks to us fans

    Just got home and I am not going to go thru all 13 pages as this game SUCKED or STUNK, take your pick. Congrats to all the posters, but the Twins have let us all down after getting a great stadium.

    I am for the young blood to be up here and a "get to know these guys" promo! Same old, same old as far as I see, but glad the former coaches and Manager are different. Gives me hope, but NOT much excitement for the season.

    After signing his new contract, he will establish himself as the American League's #1 second baseman. He will improve all of his last years stats by about 10%. Too lazy, to crunch those #'s He is the Twins 'bright spot"!

    Old school guy here, let the kids play! Tired of the saving them for the future, believe in them and let them play I wonder how long it would have taken to develop Puckett or Hrbek now days

    As has been pointed out: who is Hunter going to mentor? I can see his attitude helping the team in general, but I thought he would be a great influence on Hicks. Pelfrey being upset is fine, shows he has some desire, but no way did he earn a starting rotation spot.

    I'm old school and something needs to be done re: pace/time of the games. Way tooooo slooow. I lose interest and I understand all the arguments for letting it be as is, but, there is no reason that a batter steps out as much as they do to adjust equipment or the pitchers hem and haw as much as they do. I'd rather see a no step out rule for batters and the pitcher must pitch when umpire is ready. Let the umpire count count "1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi etc." until he gets to "5 Mississippi" and call a ball. Also stop all the visits to the mounds by limiting them to once per pitcher. They can talk in the dugout between innings

    I like it, but dang the money these guys get is beyond my imagination! Hughes is a class guy and a real plus for the Twins to lock him up, for a long time. Been a good off season, for this since they came here, Twins fan
