    Gosh, Why doesnt Mauer play Shortstop? Doesnt he see our shortstops cant hit? WHy doesnt he tell Gardy that I am playing shortstop today and I am going to hit three homers each hitting the pole.......Come one guys, seriously lets wait this out. Personally, I think he might be in the middle of an adjustment from not being catcher and knowing the umps strike zone as well as he might if he were catching. Joe is going to be fine. Maybe we should worry about other players rather than hate our best player.

    Yes, I know its only one game....However, it seems to me that this spring there is something different about Hicks. Last year, he was clearly a mess and he was in his own head. He would have a great game and then go 0-fer for a while. Anyway, I am encouraged by his performance in the last few days especially considering he was criticized by Antony. What do you all think? It just seems to be different than last year for him.

    If you are trying to get a job in the Twins FO, you are doing a great Bill Smith impression. I think there is a way for Santana to get a look early in the season until FLorimon is ready. It might be a long shot, but it is possible.

    How is Hicks and Pressly not even a position battle? Maybe Pressly is ahead because he does not have any options, but I was hoping to read some about that, but alas, nope. There was no mention of even a possibility that HIcks starts. Disappointing article.

    The problem with signing more pitchers is Worley, Hendriks, Deduno, and Diamond are all out of options. By signing, another pitcher we are going to lose one after ST. So adding a pitcher is not really adding a pitcher.
