    I'm going with the FO went with experienced arms because they're not sure where the organization is at in the minors. I doubt the FO is under any illusions about the players they brought it. Remember, this FO has only been in place for 8 months or so and the failures of the Twins organization is at all levels. This is not something fixed in a few months. It may very well take a couple of agonizing years. I'm expecting some whole sale changes, soon, though. Heck Santana and Tonkin are gone and it's relatively early in the season. On the upside, the Twins have an outfield and an infield, both of which were suspect a couple of years ago.

    Yeah, I see that also. It wasn't that long ago the Twins only had pieces of what they currently have in the outfield and infield.

    The Twins are getting the fielding and they've put some runs on the board. The bullpen just isn't up to the task.

    Hey, this year's version of the Twins seem to have some guts. If Santana can suck it up for a few innings and not give any more runs, it will give the rest of the team a chance. I didn't have that much confidence in last year's version of the Twins.
