  1. I'm sure they already have travel plans booked that day, along with Adams.
  2. I'm sorry to keep harping on this, but that out by Keaschall was another pitch in his hot zone that ended up being an out. Good teams capitalize on those situations.
  3. Another one that Larnach and Buxton both just missed in the zone right down the middle.
  4. The twins' hitters are putting themselves in bad situations. They have missed or fouled off so many balls in the zone, and then chase a pitch out of the zone with two strikes. Aghhhhh
  5. Ummmm, I can't answer that question. Don't want to get in trouble lol.
  6. I know everyone hates to hear it, but we have potential at every level in the minor leagues. It's not much, but it is what it is.
  7. 5 XBH in the last 24 games for Clemens 86 at-bats during that span. Yikes
  8. We will keep shaking our heads for years to come, I'm sure.
  9. Buxton's two line drives outs of 108 and 110 MPH.
  10. No, but he's due for pre-arb next year, and if he does any good at the MLB level, he will be due for a raise, something the owners don't want.
  11. Also, to elaborate, the whole keeping fans engaged and happy is nowhere on their priority list, so they will do whatever they can to keep salaries low and still have control. The fans don't mean anything to them. At some point, they should realize that.
  12. Yeah, and any other team would take upgrades/potential over ruining service time. The Twins are obsessed with it. However, the Twins will probably wait until Sept 1 when rosters expand.
  13. Yes, I agree, I'm on the same plan as you. Instead of getting all of these veteran pitchers who we already know won't do squat, let's get the young guys up and see what they can do. I also said a while ago that France should be traded and call up Sabato. Call up Fedko, Gonzalez, or Rodriguez if he is ever healthy. With Larnach's status murky for next year, you gotta see what you have in these other OF options
  14. He actually started as a CF when in Double-A, and then bounced back and forth for a while.
  15. The Twins put out a statement saying Triple-A is an excellent place for him to refine his pitch mix, particularly his secondary pitches, to become a more effective and reliable starter at the major league level.
  16. Those are the reasons he doesn't stick in the majors, kinda like Julien, he makes mental mistakes, and tends to take bad routes on the balls in the outfield.
  17. Well, we found out what Urena is good at: 1 inning in a relief role.
  18. Geez, unfortunate for Buck, he hit that thing 108 MPH for an out.
  19. Today's game is like an extended "opener" game, with Urena never pitching more than 4 1/3 innings in a start. He hasn't been that bad lately.
  20. I mean, according to the "experts," it is the least scouted position of any player, and you rarely find good primary catchers.
  21. You mean that one XBH in 57 at-bats isn't gonna push that OPS any higher lol.
  22. Interesting to see how the twins hitters do, considering they have never faced Perkins.
