  1. It's not productive to talk about platooning him or matchups for 2026 when he's too rich for the Twins' taste anyway. In this situation, I'm in favor of 'saving money'. ✂️
  2. Is Washington even going to or be able to return to baseball in 2026? Hope he can just heal himself.
  3. Anyone following the Game Forums (yes it's its own world) know that the giving up two-strike and two-out hits and runs was the downfall for most of our pitchers in 25. Adjusting placement of (or improving) defense was something Correa could pull off. This article illustrates that it just wasn't a vague impression; hit em where they ain't is a skill that can make all the difference. Someone has to pay attention in the field to what the battery is doing.
  4. The 🐘 in the room that isn't from Oakland.
  5. As Unclutch as Moose was, he's still capable of production. The first base noise seems pointless; he has no history there and first is the last place for a subpar (Julien!) defender who has a hand in making so many outs. DH seems the likely spot but watch the off-season pickups.
  6. This community makes Twins baseball such an enjoyable pastime! Thanks to everyone who has shared a laugh, an opinion, and their expertise in everything from pinch hitting Manny Margot to how to boil corn (eeww on both).
  7. It's not just the Dior but the amount of time you possess it.
  8. Revisit the Red Sox. Now the word is the Tigers and Skubal are worlds apart right now. Should the market for him open up, matters will change.
  9. Agreed. Our Roden intro was cut short, spring training will give us a better look. Larnach is all but gone and that's ok. Is Wallner productive enough to DH or 1B? Another Santana type signing would indicate the team's wishes.
  10. Sadly there are more cutworthy players than either of those two ex Mariners.
  11. Give Topa a better infield defense and he becomes a more effective pitcher.
  12. I don't think the pitching staff as a whole is as good without Ryan, I don't think the team as a whole is as good without Pablo. The money angle analysis is right on as is the connection to Buxton remaining. This transaction or lack will be so much bigger than just Pablo Day jerseys..
  13. If the Pohlads would just come out and state 'Pablo Lopez is your opening day starter..'
  14. Poor Louie. Even talking about him months later on TD forum has the jinx.
  15. It's a testament to him that his performance was no Revelation. Someone else can tow the good book in 2026.
  16. Recency bias.. we forget how far he has come in a short period!
  17. Keaschalls injuries are of concern but there is a game involved reason for both (HBP and jammed thumb while stealing). So far not the harder to ID injuries that linger and are tougher to find the reason for. Perhaps a bit more caution and body awareness and he's good to go.
  18. Funderburk improved after August started, markedly so!
  19. Depends on your strengths and skills. Our job just got more desirable because the Rangers filled their position. 😜
