  1. Not the ideal outcome but the run scores. Who's fleeter than France and Wallner
  2. The defense isn't good enough to bail out the pitching. The pitching isn't good enough to overcome defensive lapses or bad calls. Even a missed scoring opportunity plants defeatist seeds. So long as everything goes smoothly Paddack, Ober, Sim et. al. can be productive. But one blunder and the wheels come off. At least they have short memories and come out and can throw productive outs and innings but the damage is done ..
  3. Could we hit some of these long balls Early or with people aboard..
  4. That's a new way to give up a run. I think we scored on like that last week.
  5. Same recipe. Defense doesn't convert, hit hit SF then kaboom
  6. Seems like a good time for Jeffers to do visit but alas
  7. The Twins often come up empty in just such a situation. It could happen?
  8. Mariners will score 5-10. Twins 2-5. Maybe we'll have a 5-5 tie.
  9. Maybe could PR if needed via a late hit by France or Wallner (ha!)
  10. Formalities. Still sticking with Wallner but if Willi is so injured he should have been put on the IL so a serviceable replacement could have been called up. Bench consists of Vazquez, Keirsey, Bride. Dropping Wallner is a no brainer.. I'd put him behind France. Lee Correa France slapping the ball as well as anyone right now. Might luck into a run or two.. there will always be donuts in the lineup.
  11. The good? None of the named players are expected to be out for the year. The not so good.. the year will only need to be played out by the time they all return.
  12. I'm glad you got the gist. After I wrote it I thought it could have been construed as, the players will demand trades, throw games, quit. Which as horrible as it is I see more frustration and resignation on the field. Whether it's the lack of support from the front office or loss of trust in the coaching staff or each other.. there is caring.
  13. If Rocco isn't going a good number of players probably soon will be
