  1. He did to Correa what Correa used to do to others. Just trying to fit in.
  2. Correa really trusts the ump here.
  3. Guess this is what we have been waiting for since March.
  4. That would be my strategy if I was Baltimore. Two down.
  5. Pulling no punches. Now pull some balls.
  6. Wallner crushed for six weeks at St Paul before he finally got the call, a few years ago. There were struggles but eventually success. Worst case scenario you show off McCusker and have some trade bait if he succeeds. Best case, well we (would like to) rely on Wallner quite a bit these days.
  7. Happily the Guards tried their Clevelandy best but came up just short in game one against Washington. 🤞
  8. Of course with these guys you always worry. 🤞
  9. Unless it's wrong MLB lineups have Larnach in LF not Bader.
  10. That would be the "easiest" way for this offense to come to life.
  11. Lovich or Popez? The editors cannot choose.
  12. Announcers always say Something's Gotta Give. No?
  13. Let us lock Alcala and Julien in a batting cage overnight and see who comes out victorious..
  14. An interesting article about Julien was posted here this morning.
  15. He knows more about the strike zone than CB Bucknor ever imagined. Problem is, CB has the last word.
  16. Two for $64 if Miranda returned just wouldn't fill the seats.
  17. Since we are all doing this today here's Tuesdays lineup against Cade Povich. CF Buxton 3B Lee 1B France C Jeffers DH Lewis SS Correa RF Larnach LF Bader 2B Castro
  18. That's a decent lineup. Not sure how Larnach's defense will hold up but a Bader Buxton Wallner Emma outfield in 2025 sounds ok too.
  19. I would hope they don't just stick him in batting third and playing third all week. That's doomed to fail. I give Rocco credit (mostly) for concocting decent lineups lately. I like Larnach and Bader 7 and 8. I like more Vasquez catching and Jeffers DHing. I like sliding Correa down a spot or two. And Buxton and or Castro leading off is better than Julien playing statue to begin the game (the first Cleveland game being the exception.) Put Lee at 2nd when Royce is at third, or DH Royce on days Jeffers catches and put Willi or Clemens at 2nd, Lee at third.
  20. Bride's tank job Sunday between shoddy fielding and a large O-fer may have saved Julien for a brief interlude. Gasper.. absolutely. Clemens seems to have some defensive wits about him that Julien (maybe Castro too) is missing at 2nd. When it's time Lee can go to second and Lewis take third, rendering Gasper expendable. When Castro returns Edouard should be gone. The less surprised and more interested question for me is when Alcala will be let go.
  21. The popular buzz is LA or the O's. Who we will see plenty of over the next two weeks. Meetings over coffee? Perhaps. Baltimore has young talent that is hurt and or struggled like who we have already. Choose carefully.
