    After exhaling, the end result after the purge is that the big league team played two competitive games against a team that always finds a way to beat them-- so no change-- and we basically have an entire draft worth of new prospects and projects to sort through. It's not quite Christmas in summer. But bright stars like Buxton, an impending sale, and Joe Ryan at the top level and many exciting players just below ought to give hope. I'm hopeful. Not Peter hopeful, but hopeful. Win.

    There always something good to look forward to during baseball season. Hope Abel does well for a few starts and we can see him at call up time!

    There was a lot of good Saturday and a lot of new names and assignments to become familiar with. Good luck to all three new pitchers Sunday (and of course Urena)!

    I'm mixed on Clemens.. he's not young but he possesses fire and plays decent defense which is at a premium. And he rises to the moment occasionally too. Daddy didn't raise no baseball idiots.

    I wonder if he even knew a foul bunt with two strikes is an out .. not a rip on him so much as the coaching staff.. are now strategies related to the batters? Rocco seems irritated he considering bunting the first place
