    The smartest answer is, let's see how he looks in March (or May or whenever things start up.) There is too much stuff to give up on. Might be that Hoffman or Raya or even Abel turns out to be a better fit for the ninth inning. Gomez will have some value, it's up to Shelton to figure out where .

    Could be we are seeing the beginning of the transition to middle relief for him. Is Hoffman able to reclaim the good and not turn into a pumpkin again for next year? Might Marco Raya have a crack at closing? Very dark horse candidates.. Adams, Orze, and Rojas.
