  1. Random, but Miranda, 61 AB since August 28. 1 RBI. We were thinking of him as a future fixture here.
  2. Anyone in our dugout watching this? Anyone?
  3. Larnach has had good AB’s tonight. Wallner is due for a bomb.
  4. These teams deserve each other! We need someone to step up!
  5. Boston, statistically worst BP since the AS break. If we can’t get anything going against them, why are we hoping to back into the postseason?
  6. Up and in, down and away. Tale as old as time.
  7. C4 hit that just poor enough to get the run in
  8. A stolen base! What sorcery is this???
  9. That’s actually kinda hard to do
  10. “Tonkin’s command has disappeared “ 😂
  11. Can’t do the simple things. Lewis should have been farther off of 3rd. He was back on the base when the ball hit the dirt.
  12. Provus points out that Boston has the worst BP in baseball. Still, I am not encouraged.
  13. Festa survives. Get the bats going!
  14. We literally never have “speed on the base paths”.
  15. In almost every other scenario we’d be taking positives and encouragement from Festa moving along the learning curve while giving his team a chance. Wish the rest of this squad would show up.
  16. Twins are a tonic for Boston’s ailments
  17. Mysterious strike zone tonight
  18. Not even close. Swinging even harder with 2 strikes. Would hope that a manager or hitting coach would help, but……
  19. The “they’re tired” thing is just so hard for the average fan to have to listen to. Considering the resources available to these relatively young men, who in many ways are considered “world class” athletes, is mind boggling to normal people. The training facilities, professional dietitians, mental health specialists, medical professionals etc. at their disposal is almost beyond my comprehension. If they are truly tired, it’s on them and/or the organization. Not the fans.
