Does it seem like the Astros do this every season, start out looking less than desirable and then become a team that is annoying hard to beat somewhere from mid-season on? I just hope we win! He hit it off Tigers ace Justin Verlander in an 11-1 victory at Detroit. Verlander was historically Mauer's most productive pitcher to face, with the Minnesota icon hitting four career home runs against him. -Twins Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew was born on June 29, 1936, in Payette, Idaho. Known for his towering home runs, "The Killer" spent the vast majority of his illustrious 22-year career with the Washington Senators/Minnesota Twins franchise, racking up 573 career home runs.
