  1. #6 tonight... Just another day in the office
  2. Wow another HR, well let's play predict the final score of this one... Ima say twins 12 Yankees 11 just because I want to play the blind optimist
  3. BOOM! Number 5 today... And they just keep on coming!
  4. Maybe the Twins should include TJ surgery into all of their minor league programs for upcoming prospects just to get that out of the way
  5. Anyone else notice that games broadcast on New Yorks "YES" network has awsome sound? You can really hear the true snap of the catchers glow and thwap of the wooden bat. When can FSN get that kind of sound?
  6. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think hicks is more revered for his defensive abilities than his slightly above average offense. I'm sure he'll mature and eventually be an everyday mlb outfielder (maybe not for the twins though), but I don't think he'll be anything like the next torii hunter. Im not super knowledgable about fantasy baseball scoring but as far as parmelee goes, I have always loved the guy but unless there is some major injury problems and a shallow FA market hell unfortunately be one of those career aaa guys. Also the signing of clete Thomas will also cut into his playtime Mourneau will continue to improve and he will continue to stay in the everyday lineup no matter how bad he looks right now
  7. Awws you best me to it.. If I wasn't lay flying out of town...
  8. Great win tonight... I only got to see the last couple innings and some highlights but what I thought was fantastic about today's win is that all 7 rbi's were hit by different players. Everyone was in on this win including pavano bouncing back to shut down the Yankees offense
  9. I completely understand where your coming from, but whats wrong with winning games right now instead of maybe later? It seems idiotic to let Mourneau to keep killing innings at this point. Yes im sure mourneau will get better and willingham will cool down, but until that happens why not put the players in a position to produce the most runs?
  10. Sorry I posted this before reading "notes from inside" thread
  11. A guy really cant start the season any hotter and hes not showing any sign of slowing down, so why are we not putting him at cleanup and Mourneau down lower? With span and carroll together averaging over .375 OBP how many more runs would we have scored thus far if Willingam was able to knock them in? Maybe we would have one another game or two?
  12. Shooter hunt?
  13. Oh dang! I didn't even think if that.... Do we have the heart to beat him up?
  14. Nice!... That just happens to be about his career avg
  15. Sigh even without cuddyer we can't shake this case of the GiDP's
  16. I can see that... I'm all in on him already, Ill even say im starting to like his presence more than Cabrera or hardy. Even though his stats don't show it but he has been so consistently productive considering the roll he's in. Whether its just moving a running over with a sac grounder or taking a 2 out walk he's been giving our middle lineup many opportunities to get runs... Plus he's been very good in the field
  17. And a .331 obp which is a more important stat for a leadoff man... And 2010 was below avg
  18. Speaking of span... How about Carroll as well? How many times have both those guys got in base together this year already? Now if we can get the others to drive me in more often
  19. Heslthy span just being healthy span... That is why he is one of the most underrated leadoff men in the game
  20. Well swarzak made a good bit tonight to stay in the starting rotation... So what happens if Hendricks lights it up?
  21. Luckily rangers are still swinging at everything
  22. Swarzak flying open badly, get him out of there he had a good run today
  23. Oh yes he would have tried, but he would have sprained something in the process
  24. Damn willinghammer.. Even when he's not hitting home runs, his base hits are getting absolutely crushed
  25. Pretty sure being agressive is Texas' prerogative every game. That's why our pitching staff always struggles against them
