Perhaps, Boras will turn to the Twins again for a short term deal like Correa's for one of his prizes…if they aren't getting the offers they want. Cody Bellinger had a couple low performance years before last year's rebound. Same can be said for Snell as his two CY Young's were sandwiched around ho-hum years. Boras may choose a high AAV short term deal, and get the big contract next year after proving last year was not a fluke. Twins would have to pony up for a year or two, but they did it for Correa. Spring dreaming.

I think those questioning clubhouse behavior for Soler isn't that he should be a leader, but remember how early in his career he was said to have anger issues and was criticized for not running out grounders and not putting his all into the team. Also, they remember how Josh Donaldson's contribution on the clubhouse was not that good. Clubhouse behavior is important. So, it's a fair question. I am totally supportive of a Solar signing, I assume he has matured and has become a good teammate. But, it does not hurt to check.

Pretty fair deal. Good reliever in Topa. But, the rest is a bit of a gamble. DeScalfani has sub 4 era when healthy, so a possible scoop, but possible nothing if elbow has not fully healed. Gonzalez was their #3 prospect. Bowen could fly. If one of the last three pan out then good deal.

Perhaps the Twins can hire Chris and Stefan Caray who are twins and broadcast together. They are Harry Caray’s great grandsons. Their father and grandfather broadcast for the Braves for many years. Twins broadcasting the Twins. Can’t get better than that. 😊

Why isn't Buxton on MLB OPS leaders list?

Buxton is listed only on the MLB HR leaders list. Not on OPS or AVG or SLG or OBP. He should be the leader in several of these. He has as many bats (19) as Naquin. Why isn't he listed?

I like the 26. One or two more may be OK, too More relief pitchers have become desirable. The game has evolved away from 7 to 9 innings for starting pitchers. It is a competitive advantage for starting pitchers to pitch as intensely as they can from the beginning of the game. In the past, pitchers went into cruise control, holding back as they needed, in order to last longer. This appears to be not as effective as hard throwing starters and using more relief pitchers. So, do you limit this by limiting roster numbers? Might be a good idea, so it does not keep ballooning to one pitcher per inning. Using a pitch clock only in the Minors is what I am in favor of. I don’t want to watch a pitch clock when watching a game. Too much info already. The use in the Minors should be sufficient. Most coming up when pitch clock has been used in Minors usually pitch must quicker than many veterans. Plus, the three batter rule will decrease pitching changes sufficiently. Personally, I don’t mind a 3 hour game vs 2 hour 50 minutes. I don’t notice. If I were a sportscaster, watching everyday, it might bug me. I do get tired of hearing the complaints about it when I am watching a game, even though I can see their perspective. They get to watch baseball for a living! Relax and enjoy it.
