  1. Reading the last part of this thread has me headed directly to the shower.
  2. Thanks for the correction. I thought I'd read that somewhere here before. According to BBRef, the Twins actually won 22 games in June 1991. The ESPN piece is badly worded (and I didn't do a good job of reading. In one paragraph, they say that the Twins can have their best calendar month since June 2006. But in the next paragraph they say "Sunday the Twins will have a chance for their first 20-win month since May 1990." I suspect the writer should have said for their first 20-win MAY since May 1990.
  3. Not going to attempt that one!!
  4. May, 1990 - according to ESPN, that's the last time the Twins had 20 wins in a month. If I knew how to do a poll, I'd ask how many TD readers were born after that date!
  5. CUBS WIN! Courtesy of Terry Ryan's slush fund, here's a bigger, smoother riding bandwagon:
  6. Cubs and Royals have throw back jerseys on. I like 'em.
  7. Top of the 11th in Chicago. Watching the Royals broadcast.
  8. Caged 'em for 2 out of 3! Keep those series wins coming!
  9. Here, Chill out before the 9th:
  10. Got 'im!! Kurt doesn't do it often but when he does, Bam!
  11. OTOH, seems like Hicks has been on base a lot the last few games.
  12. Thank Goodness for bad fielding!
  13. Ugh ... Lots more work to do, boys.
  14. Way to come through Dozier, Mauer and Plouffie!!!
  15. Rhett Bollinger ‏@RhettBollinger · 5m5 minutes ago Nolasco will also undergo on an MRI exam on his ankle. And the results will come in the next day or two. LaVelle E. Neal III ‏@LaVelleNeal · 4m4 minutes ago If it's an ankle, Nolasco could be fine in time to avoid the DL
  16. So this is why Molitor was stashing J.R. in the bullpen.
  17. Have at it. I'll gladly cede the entire field to you today. Looks like Ricky will get another Mri or something.
  18. After 1, Twins 1, Jays 0 on a Dozier double, moved to 3rd on a Hunter fly and came in on a dropped fly from Mauer.
  19. I just may have to do some All-Star voting even though I hate it.
