  1. Lol, and there was always at least one.
  2. Generational question. School dance last song? For me, everytime Stairway to Heaven began all the guys would start checking if their laces were tied.....on the same side of the gym.
  3. Tetherball in the winter at recess with a frozen ball.....the best! Loser puts their tongue on the pole.
  4. That's about the size of it. There's a reason McCains is one of the largest Canadian companies.
  5. I know it's cliche but Poutine was pretty standard, Shepard's pie, pea soup and KD with Franks. Also had the good ol' pizza pops and the like. And Butter tarts....always Butter tarts.
  6. Love that movie. Don't remember any yoga pants though.
  7. And what better a way than with beer!
  8. Ok, fine. But we can still drink beer together in sweat pants?
  9. Oh no, you said it, I just made it more obvious for you.
  10. I wasn't talking at you......c'mon I expect you to know that.
  11. Sorry, not a believer that sweat pants room yoga pants belong in the workplace, unless that workplace is the gym. I get the comfort factor but those are "I give up" choices.
  12. Hmmm, so what I've gleaned so far is women wear yoga pants for men's entertainment. Is that about right?
  13. When the Olympics opened its doors to pro athletes, any transparency that it was about money was gone. At the end of the day the Olympics are just another pro sporting event.
  14. Funny, I never look at it as the USA steamrolling us, I just accept the fact you have over 300,000,000 people and that's just the way it is. There are lots of things to support besides winning medals, as Pierre de Coubertin once said "The important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle". Besides, I think we won more medals per capita than you anyway
  15. I agree, but I don't think that transfers over to how a lot of people feel about their athletes competing. I don't particularly care for how the Olympics are run but I'm proud of the athletes who go there to represent themselves and their countries.
  16. Just answering the man's question my friend. .
  17. The CBC had over 4000 hours of live streaming during Rio in addition to plenty of live television coverage.
  18. Agreed, it was brutal. Can you imagine asking Federer, Djokovic or Nadal to do a little Twirl? Pathetic.
  19. Are you talking about the Aussie Open thing with Bouchard awhile back? That was an Aussie reporter, not a CBC one.
  20. "Twirl" incident? Which one was that?
  21. This would be funnier, if it weren't so true. I'm surprised they didn't include the BBC guy who described the Women's Judo final as a "catfight". My personal fave.
