Polanco - for these reasons: He's been durable, dependable and no denying his improved defense... followed closely by Kepler (who looks to be on the cusp of superstardom), Garver (how many big hits has he given us?) and Cruz (great for leadership ala Don Baylor, but wow, this man gives us a PRESENCE in the lineup!).

AMAZING - HE DID IT AGAIN!!!

Our "LOOGY" somehow manages to get a right-handed batter out...

    Exactly.

I'm not a huge fan of 'mixing and matching', but Rocco likes playing with his toys. I'd have handed the ball to Rogers and say, 'You're my closer for a reason. You got the ninth, buddy.'

lol - Speaking of "butchers" in the field...

The most important element about today's game is the performance of Jose Berrios... He looks strong and confident, more often hitting his spots than not... good to have him "back".
  9. Brian450
Garver (again-yawn!) picks us up with another clutch hit...

Nice, nice win for the Twins... A seemingly unsurmountable 5.5 game lead now... TWINS WIN!!!
  11. Brian450
With Kepler up, I'm reminded of Perez's horrible play and how important that was in setting the table...
  12. Brian450
So where are we? Yankees # 285 and Twins now # 284? And with an extra game up our sleave?

    O.M.G. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTG, MIGUEL SANO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Brian450
Wow - to say this is a BIG moment and GREAT opportunity for Sano is vastly understating the obvious...

As much as I like Graterol's "stuff", I like his composure...
  17. Brian450
    What is it: 284 (Yanks) vs US/Twins 283 ?? I don't think that's out of reach...
  18. Brian450
    Polanco iz gudddd...
  19. Brian450
It's nice to see him come in and dominate hitters... Very good inning from Graterol.
  20. Brian450
    Wowwww....
  21. Brian450
Cruz is pulling his head off the pitches... "Twins need a jolt" is right...
  22. Brian450
    Now the hook? Surely...
  23. Brian450
Mercado is seeing him well, isn't he?
  24. Brian450
Well, honestly, it looks like Rosario is seeing the ball really well, while Cruz and Sano look a bit out of sync. Meanwhile, Rocco persisting with Lewis Thorpe...
  25. Brian450
He's swinging for the fence with every swing... Super aggressive and super violent swings.
