  1. I heard Byron Buxton ran right past Nyquist Yes Buxton is that fast Gustav Nyquist was on skates and that may have helped Buxton a little.
  2. No Problem... All the Twins pitching staff has to do is shut them down and it's over. Feels Good Don't It!!!
  3. Arcia shaking off some trying to do too much. Nice
  4. And a lefthander on the mound that looks like he's throwing from 1st Base.
  5. With Polanco... I hope he gets some playing time. If Dozier is still ailing... He just might... I'm betting Plouffe is going to get games to see if he can get his timing back. Nunez is hot so he needs to play in my opinion. Dozier is the one that needs to give up the playing time.
  6. At the trade deadline last year. Dozier was an All-Star. He would have fetched a nice package for sure. But I have no idea how anyone would make that trade when the Twins were firmly in contention.
  7. Yeah... I've always liked the name Phoenix
  8. First Off... Welcome to TD!!! How do I stay positive... Pretty easy actually. I've been obsessed with baseball since the mid 70's and I've learned to manage failure. Learning to manage failure is a skill that all of us should have developed by now. Baseball is a game of failure... Even Rod Carew failed more times then he succeeded at the plate. The best teams in baseball still lose at least 60 games a year. The difference between a good year and a bad year is about 16 games out of 162. I have failed at times in my life and I still like me so I guess I'll never fully understand the turn them off crowd but to each their own. The Twins are a part of my family. I've said my vows... in sickness and in health. I'll be watching again tonight.
  9. I've had players miss the steal sign... if they miss it twice... I have yelled across the diamond at them... STEAL
  10. This might be something we need
  11. A friend of mine once said...Aww.... Look at the Dead Bird. I looked up and said "where?"
  12. Welcome aboard... This format has gotten us through some dismal seasons. When it turns around and the Twins start winning... We are going to reverse course and start yelling at each other.
  13. It's honestly looking like it might be. Trying some stuff I guess.
  14. New Post of the Night Leader!!!
  15. The White Sox being able to play defense... May actually make me cry. I think the White Sox playing defense bugs me more than Total System Failure of the Twins.
  16. I've got the Mound Visit Transcript Allen: Ricky... I know... I Know... You don't have to say it. Nolasco: Man if Plouffe catches that ball we are out of the inning. Allen: And you said it. Nolasco: Well Jeez Neil... I need some help here. Allen: You probably should have covered 1st earlier in the inning. Nolasco: We are talking Plouffe right now... why do you feel the need to change the subject.
  17. He pulled something running to 1st. Left on the Bench... Mastro... Centeno and Dozier but Dozier didn't start because something was nagging him.
  18. I mailed a Live Lobster from Maine to a friend in Grand Forks once. Hindsight is 20/20 and the Manila envelope was a bad idea.
  19. I'd even go as far as say. The Improved White Sox defense may have something to do with the improved White Sox ERA.
  20. You can use my "True Story" Brackets if you'd like.
