    I just looked at the rule book. You can use your glove to tag someone anywhere. He obviously thought he had the ball and he obviously thought that Sano may score. Once you factor that in... McCann was perfectly within his rights and following the rules of baseball.

    Personally... I don't want Buxton in AAA anymore. I'm ready to ride this out. However... I don't believe moving him from 3rd to 9th in the order is messing with him and I also don't believe that being pinch hit for is hurting him and I don't believe that sitting on occasion will ruin him. The thing that is hurting him is striking out over 50 percent of the time. No manager is going to fix your confidence when you do that.

    Joe is a fantastic defensive 1B. So was Meintkiewicz. Both had that light hitting .300 potential. Eventually you need someone like Morneau.

    The save probably won't go away but the importance of the save or closer needs to diminish. Perhaps someday... A guy like Betances will win his arbitration case.

    Sano at first today. I think it's wonderful 7 more games at 1B for Sano and he gains 1B eligibility for my fantasy team. Oh... And... Escobar has been playing well and he deserves more time in the lineup. Escobar has been on the bench for 4 straight games which is what you do with a guy who performs when given a chance I guess. I get the concept of small sample size but some small sample sizes are caused by managers keeping the sample small. I was personally hoping that Molitor wouldn't extensively sit a guy hitting .273/.407/.862 and play a guy hitting .208/.258/.482 every day. "Earn your playing time" should be stamped to Paul Molitor's forehead in large font. And Mirrors should be installed all over the club house so Paul can also see his forehead.     I had a friend who used to do that joke all the time. Finally I stopped pulling his finger. Unfortunately... The Guy just eventually imploded. I felt guilty... If I would have pulled his finger... Maybe he's still around today.

    No way... You may have whiffed but it's still brilliant. Mauer is so bald and so out of place in the photo. It's brilliant and these amazing combinations are priceless. It's a gift.

    I had to put that into a translator to understand it. In Spanish it said "Why Not Both" However, I tried Norwegian First and it came out as an Ole and Lena joke.
